Skip the noisy play warehouse

Your toddler has already done three laps of the living room, and it is not even nine o’clock. You search for an indoor playground in Alhambra and find bounce houses, loud play centres and drop-off gyms. What you want is a place where they can burn off that energy while you actually sit down.

That place is a short drive away in San Gabriel: a French café and an indoor playground in the same room, designed for children ages 0 to 7.

Is it worth the drive from Alhambra?

Yes. Here is the honest picture.

Close by

We are at 416 E. Las Tunas Drive, Unit C, San Gabriel, CA 91776, about 10 minutes from Alhambra by car depending on traffic and where you start.

One room, two worlds

The play space stays in view from the café, so you can eat and drink while your child plays. It is not a food court with a ball pit tacked on, and not a drop-off centre.

Real food and drinks

Croque monsieur, salads, pastries and desserts, coffee and tea, plus beer and wine by the glass for the grown-ups, and a kids’ menu for the little ones.

The Eat & Play session: two hours that fix your weekend

Every visit is a 2-hour Eat & Play session.

1

Arrive and sign in

Sign the waiver online before you come to save time. Socks are required on the play floor, so bring a pair for everyone.

2

Kids play

The play space is designed for ages 0 to 7, with wooden play structures and room for little explorers.

3

You eat

Order from the café menu. Each adult orders at least one entrée, and you can enjoy it while keeping an eye on your child.

4

Everyone leaves happy

Two hours of play for them, one unhurried meal for you. Children stay under a parent or caregiver’s supervision throughout.

Admission is $12.99 per child and $10.99 per sibling. Babies under 1 are free.
